Recently the granite brick engraved with the Elks logo was installed at the Nevada Veterans Memorial Plaza. The brick is located on the right side (north end) of the Plaza. The mission of the Memorial is to preserve and honor the legacy of our fallen Nevadan Service Members since 1864. It’s a place where civilian and veterans alike can come and reflect on the Nevadans who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service of our country. The Memorial includes an audio tribute to Veterans with stories of clips from speeches by Ronald Reagan and other famous patriots. We encourage all Elks to visit the Plaza located at 300 Howard Dr., Sparks. The Memorial is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Donations to the Memorial can still be made by depositing them in the little house on the round table in the Lobby.
