Weather was perfect, hot dogs and hamburgers were classic, margaritas were nicely frozen, the cars were amazing, and Route 66 performed their fantastic music till it was dark! What more could you ask at an annual fundraiser for the Veteran’s Committee. With the guiding hand of Diane Hyde-Toles and the veterans committee this event is always one not to miss. There was a 50/50 raffle and donations could be made directly to the veterans committee. They were able to raise about $3500 this one night and give away some money on the raffle and prizes for the top 3 cars entered in the show. This year’s winners were First Place, 1968 Ford 100, Bill Hildebrand; Second Place, 1941 Plymouth Coup, Tony Lucero; Third Place 1967 Chevy Camaro SS Kyle Chisholm.
The evening ended with great music and dancing in the parking lot! Thanks for all the hard work that goes into making this a success every year.
